Medication Management & Support
Medication can be an important component of mental health treatment for some individuals. At iCare, medication decisions are made thoughtfully and collaboratively, with careful monitoring and ongoing reassessment. When clinically appropriate, pharmacogenomic testing through GeneSight may be offered as a supportive tool to help guide medication selection. GeneSight testing is completed using a home collection kit mailed directly to the patient. Results are reviewed in the context of clinical history, symptoms, and treatment response. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of the patient’s choice.
Integrated & Supportive Care
Mental health is often closely connected to physical health, medication effects, and substance use. When clinically appropriate, iCare may incorporate additional medical support as part of comprehensive care.
This may include:
-
Medication-supported metabolic health management
-
Treatment for substance use disorders, including medication-assisted treatment
-
Coordination with counseling or other support services
These services are provided in a respectful, nonjudgmental manner and are integrated into an overall mental health treatment plan when appropriate.
